Pool Party Children’s Book
Challenge
For this school project, I illustrated and wrote a children’s book.
Solution
In the summer of 2013 I took a children’s book illustration class from a creative director at Chronicle books. The course was exciting and taught us how to storyboard ideas and go through the bookmaking process. I married my love of drawing animals and fashion into this book. The illustrations were painted and drawn using ink, bamboo pen and watercolor. The story was written by me.
