Challenge
For this school project, I was assigned to create a pattern and a poster incorporating the pattern for a store or brand.
Solution
As part of ACNM’s 60th anniversary and annual conference, I designed a memoriam PowerPoint presentation to honor important midwives from the past 60 years. I wanted to create a presentation that was serious but not melancholy and I used the imagery of flowers to represent the cycle of birth and death, which midwives engage in on a daily basis. I chose shades of blue for the watercolor flowers to match the branding of ACNM and to show the more serious nature of the presentation.
